In this chapter, Odysseus arrives in Hypereie. Athene thinks to help Odysseus. She disguises into the form of Dymas and appears to Nausicaa's dream during Nausicaa was sleeping. Athene entices Nausicaa to the forest. When Nausicaa plays the ball game Odysseus appears in front of Nausicaa even without clothes. Nausicaa helps Odysseus wash and put on someclothes. Nausicaa goes to her good father's house with Odysseus. but Nausicaa says if Odysseus wants to get her father's help to go back to home, then there are something he has to do, what he waits until Nausicaa leaves away and then ask to someone to go to the city. When he arrives her father's house and meet her mother. He makes good impress on her mother. That help Odysseus's journey. Before Odysseus departs to her father's house, Odysseus prays for Athene about hoping her family's hospitality.
